PMPS BEHIND THE SCENES
We held our first event of the year Saturday 22 April 2023 starting at 12.00pm and the guests started arriving from 11.00 onwards which meant they were able to have light refreshments and biscuits in a relaxed atmosphere.
We were pleased and excited to welcome 39 guests on such a lovely, sunny day. As the title suggests, we wanted our guests to learn more about PMPS – a little history, our Vision and Mission Statements, our core values, and our plans for growth. But we at PMPS do not stand alone – we have a team that supports us. Liz Hobbs welcomed our guests, taking through the housekeeping for the building and then introduced Subodh Timilsina, to kick off the proceedings by sharing who we are, what we do and talked about our customers and our values. We then had three presentations from our “Behind the Scenes” IT support. Thank you to Acis Mahrje, Churamani Regmi and Kishore Subedi for their contributions. Then, we had an entertaining session from an experienced Toastmaster Dick Dixon on the brief history and the London Underground and the development of the London Underground map. Our fourth IT partner Anjani Phuyal travelled all the way from Plymouth to share with us his involvement with PMPS and what the future may bring. Thank you Anjani. Liz then shared the work that PMPS are currently doing to create a strong foundation for future growth, following which she invited Subodh back up so they could both lead the Interactive Q&A and feedback session which turned into a really positive and productive discussion, with the team receiving lots of ideas – so thank you to all that contributed. We finished up by having lunch and a networking session, which again was really lively with a lot of people making new contacts – and then towards the end a raffle with three prizes. All in all, it was great to see people enjoying themselves.
