We were told that we were making it hard for ourselves………

And that we were certainly taking the harder road by making the decision to embrace the concept of an Integrated Management System.

But we are pleased to announce that we have achieved ISO Certification on three standards.

ISO9001:2015 Quality

ISO14001:2015 Environmental and

ISO45001:2018 Health and Safety

So why did we do it? We were only originally only going to go for the ISO9001:2015, but in having a few on-line meetings with different suppliers, we needed to consider doing it differently.

In doing our ‘due diligence’ we discovered that we could work ‘smarter, not harder’ by aligning the concept of undertaking all three standards at similar times.

The three standards for the management of quality, the environment, and health and safety contain the same basic discipline and a general common structure that made integration a lot easier.

We were able to combine a number of core documents, for example the Scope Document, the Master Risk Register and Company Objective, to name just a few.

This bought us economies of scale to be able to work more efficiently and effectively and the great thing about doing this as we have been able to start embedding a new culture of ‘the way things are done around here’ and having that continuous improvement mindset.
